Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the SKŌR mobile application
and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by LIOT Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", "our"),
a company registered in England and Wales.
By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree,
do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Age Requirement
SKŌR is for adults aged 18 and over only. By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to use SKŌR under any circumstances.
We reserve the right to terminate your account immediately and without notice if we determine or reasonably suspect that you are under 18. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
You must also be legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Your Account
To access certain features of SKŌR, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately at hello@joinskor.com if you suspect unauthorised access
- Ensuring that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date
You may not create more than one account, transfer your account to another person, or use another person's account without their express permission.
3. Free Tier
SKŌR offers a free tier that allows you to perform a limited number of scans without a subscription. Free tier features are subject to change. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue the free tier at any time with reasonable notice.
4. Subscription Plans and Pricing
SKŌR offers paid subscription plans that unlock unlimited scans, progress tracking, GLP-1 Mode, and other premium features. The following subscription terms apply:
4.1 Available Plans
- Weekly subscription: £2.99 per week. Billed every 7 days. Provides full access to all premium features.
- Monthly subscription: £9.99 per month. Billed every 30 days. Provides full access to all premium features.
- Annual subscription: £39.99 per year. Billed once per year. Provides full access to all premium features for 12 months (saving approximately 74% versus the weekly plan).
Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and processed by Apple via the App Store. Prices may vary by country and are inclusive of applicable taxes (e.g. UK VAT at the applicable rate). LIOT Ltd reserves the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
4.2 Billing and Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorise Apple (via the App Store) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscription management is handled through RevenueCat. You can view your next billing date in Settings → Subscription.
Billing is managed entirely by Apple via the App Store. LIOT Ltd does not have access to your payment card details.
4.3 Free Trials
Where a free trial is offered, it will be clearly described before you subscribe. If you do not cancel before the end of the free trial period, you will be charged the applicable subscription fee. You may only use one free trial per account and per payment method.
4.4 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices. If we increase the price of your current plan, we will notify you at least 30 days before the new price takes effect. Your continued use of the subscription after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price. If you do not accept the new price, you must cancel before the change takes effect.
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1 How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time through:
- iOS (App Store): Settings app → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → SKŌR → Cancel Subscription
- In-app: SKŌR app → Settings → Subscription → Manage → Cancel
- Email: Contact hello@joinskor.com with "Subscription Cancellation" as the subject
5.2 Effect of Cancellation
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the period end date. We do not issue partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period unless required by law.
5.3 Refunds
Subscriptions are purchased via the Apple App Store. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. You can request a refund through Apple's "Report a Problem" page or by contacting Apple Support.
If you believe a refund is warranted due to exceptional circumstances, you may also contact us at hello@joinskor.com within 14 days of a charge and we will assist where possible.
Under UK Consumer Rights, you have a 14-day cooling-off period for digital services purchased online. However, by starting to use the premium features before this period ends, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel under the cooling-off period. We will make this clear at the point of purchase.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use SKŌR to:
- Upload photos of any person other than yourself without their explicit consent
- Upload photos of anyone under the age of 18
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models or scoring algorithms
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written permission
- Circumvent any access controls, usage limits, or subscription gates
- Impersonate another person or create a false identity
- Use automated bots, scripts, or tools to interact with the Service
- Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.
7. Medical Disclaimer
SKŌR scores are not medical advice and are not a substitute for professional medical, dermatological, or clinical assessment.
The scores, metrics, and insights generated by SKŌR are produced by AI image analysis algorithms and are intended solely for personal wellness tracking and informational purposes. They do not constitute and should not be construed as:
- A medical diagnosis of any skin condition, disease, or disorder
- A clinical assessment of body composition or fitness
- Medical advice, treatment recommendations, or a prescription
- An endorsement or evaluation of any medication, supplement, or medical procedure (including GLP-1 medications)
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional — such as a GP, dermatologist, or registered dietitian — before making any decisions about your health, skincare, diet, exercise, or medication based on SKŌR results.
GLP-1 Progress Mode is designed to help you visually track changes in your appearance during a GLP-1 medication journey. It does not assess the medical efficacy or safety of any medication and is not a substitute for advice from your prescribing physician.
AI-generated scores are estimates, not clinical measurements. SKŌR scores are produced by AI image analysis models that evaluate visual features from photographs. They are not equivalent to measurements obtained by clinical instruments (such as DEXA scans, dermatoscopes, or calibrated body composition monitors) and have not been clinically validated as diagnostic tools. Score accuracy may be affected by lighting conditions, camera quality, photograph angle, skin tone, and other variables. Use your scores as a personal reference point for tracking change over time — not as an absolute measure of your health or physical condition.
If you are using GLP-1 medications (such as tirzepatide, semaglutide, or liraglutide), SKŌR's GLP-1 Progress Mode is a personal tracking tool to help you visualise changes in your appearance. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any pharmaceutical manufacturer, prescribing service, or healthcare provider. It does not assess whether your medication is working medically, and results displayed in the app should never influence decisions about your medication dosage, continuation, or discontinuation without consulting your prescribing physician.
7A. Camera Access and Biometric Data Consent
SKŌR requires access to your device camera to perform Face SKŌR and Body SKŌR scans. Camera access is requested only when you initiate a scan — we do not access your camera in the background or at any other time.
By using the scan features, you explicitly consent to:
- SKŌR capturing a photograph using your device camera at the moment of each scan
- That photograph being transmitted securely to our AI processing pipeline for analysis
- The resulting scores and the original photograph being stored in your account as described in our Privacy Policy
Photographs submitted for scanning are biometric data and special category personal data under UK GDPR. We process them solely to generate your SKŌR results, as described in full in Section 3.2 of our Privacy Policy. You may withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your account.
You must only submit photographs of yourself. You must not submit photographs of any other person, with or without their consent. Doing so violates these Terms and may constitute a breach of that person's privacy rights under UK GDPR.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, technology, AI models, algorithms, trademarks, trade names, logos, and other intellectual property relating to the Service are owned by LIOT Ltd or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use only.
You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By submitting a photo for scanning, you grant LIOT Ltd a limited licence to process that photo for the purpose of generating your SKŌR results. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how photos are handled.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses
- SKŌR scores are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies — we make no representations about their accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
- Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months prior to the claim
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your licence to use the Service ends immediately. Data deletion following termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it in the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or by contacting us at hello@joinskor.com.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email (where we have your address) and by displaying a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the changes, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your subscription.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
